In the future there will be some additional services some users may choose to use.

  • It’s your information, so we let you download it all in an organized report. Great for having an additional digital copy of your information, but also great if you are selling your car and want to share that information with your potential buyers.

  • If you sell one of your vehicles we make it easy for you to transfer the vehicle’s file to the next owner if you wish to do so.

  • We do not have a limit to the number of vehicles you have in CARPORT.

Frequently Asked User Questions:

  • We can help you change your account email. Send us an email to info@carport.app and we will lead you through the process in a way that ensures security and privacy.

  • At present we only allow one user per account.

  • Yes, you can use CARPORT on your Apple iPad or Android based tablet.

  • If you use an Apple desktop or laptop, and it has an Apple chip (I.e. not Intel), then you can download CARPORT from the App Store and use it on your laptop/desktop.

If you use a Chromebook laptop, you can download CARPORT from the Play store.

At the moment we do not have a web-based version for use if you do not have one of the two types of devices listed above.

  • CARPORT initially sets your default currency based on the App Store you downloaded from. Sometimes that may still default to US$, or you may be traveling when you installed and it set a currency you wish to change.

In your user settings tab, you can edit your Personal Information and set what you want your default currency to be.

All receipts and expense summaries should be entered in the currency they were paid in and then the app will convert them to your default currency using an exchange rate as of the receipt date. So even if you subsequently change your default currency again, the values shown will always be correct.
